Faithfull Fellas

(a.k.a. the men’s group)

Our new breakfast club has been established! We will meet on (roughly!) the first Saturday morning of each month, for fellowship, friendship and a good hearty cooked breakfast. We plan to engage a number of speakers over the coming months, and have some daytrips in the pipeline too.

Suggested ideas for speakers included: Tank commander with gulf war experience. Pubs of Bagshot past and present. Life in the British Council. Pubs of London. Wine and tasting tips.

Suggested ideas for daytrips included: Mercedes Benz World, Farnborough Abbey, Bovingdon Tank Museum, McLaren, The Hogsback Brewery , Keogh Barracks RAMC medical museum, Evening Race Meeting, a film night and walking tour of London pubs of interest.

Once we have a programme for the year planned, we will put that here.

Thanks to all who pitched in to make the first breakfast a success (including doing the washing up!), and to those who have volunteered to help going forward. Come and join us at the next one and bring a friend or family member.

Programme for 2025

What are these Faitful Fellas all about?

Our group provides an inclusive, supportive and friendly environment in which strangers can become friends, fun can be had, worries can be shared and faith explored. We mostly meet as a men’s group, but also have regular events to which we invite all members of the community. Our group seeks to be a place for those seeking fellowship in the broader Christian context of our church and local community. It provides an opportunity for people across all sections of society to connect in a friendly and supportive environment and as such it is an important part of how we understand our commitment to being an Inclusive Church: Everybody is welcome – saints and sinners - nobody is judged or turned away but embraced and loved.
