Young Adults Trip to Taizé This Summer
The Dioceses of Oxford and Guildford are travelling to Taizé!
16–24 August 2025, anyone aged 15–35
Taizé is a religious community of brothers in the Burgundy region of eastern France, which since the end of the Second World War has been welcoming young people to stay and to share their simple life and explore life’s meaning.
Join us from 16–24 August 2025 –it's open to anyone aged15–35. Travel will be by overnight coach from Reading. There will be a pick-up point at Cobham Services for those coming from Guildford.
The cost for the week is £395 for under-18s and £425 for over-18s.
Accommodation at Taizé will be in tents. There will be space to have our own communal area to play games, play football and chat. Do bring a tent, camping equipment and camping chair.
Please let us know if cost or needing camping equipment is a barrier to you coming. There will be an online opportunity to meet others in the group before going and to ask any questions.
This year we will be asking for any 15–16 year-olds to come with a designated adult. This could be a parent, youth or children’s minister, church leader or chaplain, to provide extra support for those going out.
