As we prepare for Andreas’ departure and the vacancy, the PCC has appointed a small Parish Profile team, led by Joce (who works in executive search) with Ellen, Carolyn, Andy and Derrick.

The PCC have had a very useful Vacancy Vision Workshop, facilitated by the Diocese, and the Profile team are beginning work on the first draft of the Parish Profile, which is the document which will be sent out to people who are interested in applying to become our new incumbent. It is our chance to describe our parish and community, what our needs are and what we are looking for in our new incumbent and it is important that this includes input from the wider congregation on what you would like to see in the next Vicar. The final version will be signed off by the PCC in the autumn, before we formally advertise for the role.

In order to gather your input to this process, we have several ways for you to be involved:

- A suggestion box at the back of church, together with a paper copy of the survey form (or you can put in other comments too)

- Workshops in late August/early September (dates to follow)
