Would you like to encourage our youngsters as they grow in their faith?

As we approach the vacancy, there will be a few areas where we will need to find extra support, and one of these is in Junior Church, where we are in need of people to lead sessions.

You don't need to be an expert on Christianity, nor do you need a teaching degree(!) but you do need to be willing to explore your faith together with the kids, and most importantly model God's love to them. We have some good sources of ideas for lectionary-based sessions and a simple structure to follow, as well as help in planning if you'd like - so you won't be starting from scratch.

We aim to run Junior Church on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays of the month, and would like to have a team of 3-4 leaders so that it can be spread around. That would mean leading a session roughly twice in 3 months, on a rota basis. 

We will need to safely recruit new leaders so we are not anticipating starting instantly! But it would be good to have a team in place by October.
