Our All Age Harvest service is happening a week later than usual, on Sunday 11th October.

Do consider adding an item or two to your weekly shop, ready for our annual collection for the Besom. Please bring your donations along to the harvest services in church on 11th October. Please remember to check that expiry dates are not before December.

Food items:

Tinned Peas/carrots/potatoes/tomatoes/sweetcorn (both sizes)

Mashed Potato

Tinned meals such as mince & onion / chicken in sauce / curry / Spam / Corned Beef etc.

All sizes of Pasta sauce OR other sauces such as sweet/sour, curry

Bags of Pasta & Rice and Pouch Rice (ready cooked for 2 people)

Pouches or tinned Lentils/Grains/Pulses

Tinned fruits – Pineapple/peaches/cocktail etc. all sizes in juice or Dole pks of 4 individual fruits

Tinned or Packet custard & Tinned Rice pudding

Tinned or ambient sponge puddings

Long-life Semi skimmed Milk

500g granulated sugar

Jam / Marmalade

Sugar free squash / Cartons of Juice (long life)

Coffee (Instant)

Biscuits - any kind/size!

Baby items:

Nappies; Baby wipes; Baby toiletries; Baby food

Cleaning items:

Surface spray; Bleach; washing up liquid; washing tabs; hand soap

Toiletries:

Male/female deodorant, Shower gel; Shampoo, Conditioner

Other household items:

The Besom also provides household items such as small electrical items (toasters, kettles), crockery, saucepans, oven trays, casserole dishes, washing up bowls, dustpan & brush, bedding, towels etc. (these need to be new, please!)
