BESOM FOODBANK APPEAL
Thank you all for donating some wonderful items towards the hamper we will raffle in aid of the Besom this Advent. You can still let us have items this week. From next Sunday on we will be selling VIRTUAL raffle tickets in church but in the meantime you can use this form to purchase raffle tickets online. Each ticket will be £1.
Due to the pandemic we won't actually give you a physical ticket, but simply put your name against some random numbers (however many you have bought).
This week will be the last opportunity for you to weeks we will be making hampers and wrapping Christmas presents for the Besom foodbank to distribute. You might be able to donate a complete hamper, or alternatively give individual items which we can combine into hampers. Full details of items for the hampers can be found below - please do stick closely to the list so that the hampers are similar.
We will also be giving presents for both adults and children/young people. These should be wrapped and labelled with age/gender as appropriate, and value of £5-£10. Suggestions include games, art materials, books, nice toiletries, photo frames, hats/scarves. They especially need men’s gifts. Please no home-made items, candles or alcohol.
Please put any donations of hampers or presents in/by the Besom box in St Anne's church porch (45 Church Rd Bagshot GU19 5EQ) by Monday 23rd November. This will give us time to make up the hampers and get them to the Besom in time for distribution in early December.
Alternatively you can also make a financial donation towards a Christmas hamper either in cash (via the envelops in church, via the donation button below or via text giving)

Making a hamper
Find a sturdy box of a suitable size and cover it with Christmas paper; alternatively use a large wicker basket. Then pack your hamper items from the lists below, ticking off all the items included. Cover loosely with cellophane and attach the list of contents, but please do not seal, so that additional items can be added to create a bespoke hamper.
Please do not include alcohol, liquor chocolates, perishable or home-made items, and please ensure all items are in date for Christmas consumption. Please avoid the value range; give what you would like to receive yourself to make these hampers extra special.
